Termsof Use

Effective date: September 28, 2026

The short version

  • ReceiptBook is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement if you get it from the App Store, or under the Google Play Terms of Service if you get it from Google Play, together with these terms.
  • ReceiptBook prepares files for your records and your accountant. It doesn’t file tax returns and isn’t tax advice.
  • ReceiptBook Pro subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play settings.

1. Agreement

ReceiptBook is provided by FightTech (“FightTech”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using ReceiptBook, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the terms of the store you got it from:

These terms add to those. For App Store downloads, if anything in these terms conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails. If you don’t agree, please don’t use ReceiptBook.

2. What ReceiptBook does

ReceiptBook helps freelancers and small businesses keep receipts and invoices in order. It captures and imports documents, reads details such as vendor, date, amounts and VAT on your phone, files them by period and category, and exports files for your records and your accountant. It has no account and doesn’t connect to your bank.

3. Not tax, accounting or legal advice

ReceiptBook is not a tax filing service and not a tax, accounting or legal advisor, and nothing in the app or on this website is tax advice.

  • Reading documents is automatic and can be wrong. Check the details ReceiptBook fills in, especially anything marked Check, before you rely on them.
  • Tax rates, categories and period settings are general defaults. Confirm with your accountant that they fit your business.
  • ReceiptBook doesn’t submit anything to a tax authority. You are responsible for your records and filings.
  • Tax authorities may require you to keep original paper receipts or invoices for a set time. Check your local rules before discarding originals.

4. Your data

Your documents are stored on your device, and you are responsible for them. Because we don’t hold a copy, we can’t restore them if you delete the app or lose your device. Exporting every original is free at any time, and we recommend keeping your own copy. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Free and Pro

The core ReceiptBook app is free. ReceiptBook Pro unlocks the Accountant package, Spreadsheet (CSV) and Period report (PDF) exports, automatic categories, and extra on-device reading on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence. Pro is available as:

  • Yearly — US$39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible users.
  • Monthly — US$9.99 per month. New subscribers pay US$4.99 per month for the first 3 months.
  • Lifetime — US$79.99, a one-time purchase that doesn’t renew.

Plans, prices, trials and offers can differ by country or region. The store shows what’s available to you and the price in your local currency, which may include taxes. Exporting every original stays free on every plan.

6. Subscriptions, trials and billing

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • If you start the 7-day free trial, the yearly subscription begins and is charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. Trial eligibility is determined by the store.
  • If you subscribe monthly with the introductory offer, you pay the introductory price for the first 3 months and the regular monthly price after that, unless you cancel. Each introductory offer can be used once per account.
  • Purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account and can be restored on devices signed in to the same account.
  • Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. For App Store purchases, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, see Google Play’s refund help.

7. Acceptable use

Use ReceiptBook only for lawful purposes and as allowed by the store terms above. Don’t attempt to copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, or to get around its purchase or security features, except where the law expressly allows it.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ReceiptBook is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to make it accurate and reliable, but we don’t promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its readings, totals or exports will be complete or correct, or that any figure will be accepted by a tax authority. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FightTech is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any taxes, penalties, interest or fees arising from records or filings prepared with ReceiptBook. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be limited by agreement.

9. Changes

We may update ReceiptBook and these terms from time to time. When we change these terms, we’ll update the effective date above, and for significant changes we’ll give notice on this page or in the app. If you keep using ReceiptBook after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
